Ride a Pontoon Boat to Woodstock from Manson

  • by

THERE IS SUCH THING AS A FREE RIDE!

Oh yes there is and if you act quick, you can secure this amazing free ride!!! The use of a Pontoon Boat has been donated by Shoreline Rentals for the purpose of ferrying attendees of the 50th Woodstock Anniversary, Chelan Valley Hope fundraiser, between Manson and Watson’s Resort.

The boat will be piloted by licensed Master Pilot, Danny Lockhart. The boat ride will transport people from the Manson dock to the dock at Watson’s Resort. At the Resort, there will be a van, courtesy of North Shore Bible Church, which will transport people up the hill to the event at Watson’s Alpenhorn Outback Café. The boat ride is free, but must be reserved in advance as there is limited seating per voyage.

First crossing is at 4pm, second crossing approximately at 4:45. Return crossings will be at 9pm and approximately 9:30. It is possible that other crossings could be provided, depending on the number of reservations.

This boat ride will save Manson area residents and visitors nearly two hours of road time; the boat ride itself takes approximately 15 minutes, each direction. It will also allow Event goers to safely enjoy a glass of local wine and leave the driving to Danny! Get your reservations in early as seating is limited.

A crew from Chelan Valley Hope will have a table in front of the Vogue, selling tickets, t-shirts and taking reservation for the boat ride on Thursday – August 8 at 9:00, Monday – August 12 at 10:00 and Friday – August 16 at 9:00.

Reservations may also be made by calling Chelan Valley Hope at 509-888-2114 on Mondays or Wednesdays (you can leave a message if CVH is closed), or by contacting Catharine at 509-449-1913.
