The Lake Chelan Food Bank is experiencing record demand during these unprecedented times, with 160 visitors this past Monday. Food Banks state-wide are experiencing shortages, and Chelan is no exception. To address this while awaiting assistance from the State, the Food Bank will hold a food drive from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on May 2, 2020. Food will be accepted at both the Chelan Valley Hope building (417 S. Bradley) and North Short Bible Church. Particularly needed are dried beans and peanut butter, but all non-perishables will be accepted. Questions: Richard Springer, rlspringer275@gmail.com or 425-354-7403.
