For four months in 2020, April through July, CVH will partner with the Department of Social and Health Services to offer Mobile Community Service to local residents. The Mobile Community Service Office will be stationed at Chelan Valley Hope’s location at 417 S. Bradley Street in Chelan from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the following dates: Wednesday April 8th, May 13th, June 10th, and July 8th. The mobile unit is wheel-chair accessible, and Spanish translation services will be provided. Services that can be accessed through this opportunity include cash and food assistance and determination of eligibility for Medicare Savings Programs and Aged, Blind, or Disabled Medicaid. The unit will be staffed by experienced program specialists who will be able to process new applications, as well as reviews and changes for active programs. CVH volunteer staff will also be on-site to assist. This will be a great opportunity for residents to conduct their DSHS business without having to travel to Wenatchee or Omak.
